Louise Hurlbutt, Founder
Louise Hurlbutt has traveled the world with a keen
eye for design. From mud huts in Afghanistan to New York, from Tokyo to
London and everywhere in between Louise and her husband Ralph
have lived and worked and embraced the local culture. This breadth
of experience has made Louise a creative, dynamic and innovative
designer. Her love of art and antiques, coupled with classic
design training in London and her extensive travel come together
in her beautiful and innovative design work.
Louise became interested in design while working in Tokyo for
the internationally renowned fashion designer, Manae Mori. In
the mid 70ís she studied at the New York School of Design
and then took full advantage her husband Ralph's five your stint
in London with Mellon Bank where she studied at the Inchbald
School of Design.
Louise has worked on projects throughout New England, Pennsylvania,
Florida, London and New York. Her interior design work has been
featured in many well-known publications, including Better Homes
and Garden, Country Living, Hamptons Magazine, Maine Home &
Design and Accent Magazine.
Louise and her husband Ralph reside in the most beautiful place
in the world, Kennebunk, Maine. |
